12656511_10206951985052720_1222593855_85Born in the north-west of Ireland in 1985 to a southern mother and a northern father, I grew up straddling the DonegalDerry border and attended St. Columb’s College, Derry during my teenage years.

I resided in Manchester between 2010 and 2017, having previously lived in Dublin for four years, and presently live back in Derry. I hold an LL.B. from Trinity College, Dublin and a first-class BA (Hons) Fine Art from the Manchester School of Art.

My writing has featured on Back Page Football, Fly By Those NetsGoal.com Ireland, GreenSceneJudeCollins.com, One Team in IrelandSlugger O’Toole and The42.ie, as well as in the Irish News and You Boys in Green.

    As an Armagh nationalist you have just summed up everything I have felt over the years regarding the northern/ southern divide. Brilliant brilliant article and a must read for every member of the Daìl .

    During this month of Pride, I stumbled across the article that you wrote paying homage the progressive milestone that Ireland achieved when voting in favour of sand sex marriage back in 2015. Your article really captured this beautiful moment in our nation’s history. Thank you for reflecting on this milestone which will be forever etched in so many peoples memories for years to come. Great writing. Words that are informed by perspective and enriched by enlightenment.
